Can anyone tell me what are the statutory (if any) minimum educational requirements for a person to train for and attain a professional pilot's licence in the UK (and therefore Europe)?

Assume money is not a factor.

Thanks for any help

There are none whatsoever.

You are an experienced pilot FFB, and you are aware of the relevant statutory documents, so I am guessing the question is rhetorical?

Of course, and although not part of your question, there are usually minimum educational requirements that certain schools may stipulate, as indeed may certain employers.

Well yes and no - I didn't think there were but didn't want to spend time getting into the docs to find out - thanks! The question wasn't meant to be rhetorical but that is another matter.
