I'm hoping to have a couple of days to do some flying in Las Vegas in two weeks time and would be grateful for any suggestions of which of the local schools/hire operators might be worth using.

Thanks in advance

I flew with Westair aviation out of North Las Vegas. They couldn't have been more helpful.

+1 for Westair aviation.

You can hire sr22 at a fraction of the uk price too.

Small tip, if you are without hire car then go to the main terminal of north las Vegas airfield and get a taxi back from there. I've had to wait hours for a taxi to collect me from Westair aviation, almost every time in the past.

try monarch sky at henderson exec, about 20 mins or so south of the strip.

did 6hrs 30 with them in a Da40 in one day couple years ago all organised via email from the uk - couldnt of been more helpful. over the canyon, stopped there to have a wander up to hte edge, over monument valley.

Turned up in the aircraft less than an hour later having gone through the paperwork etc etc

Used an instructor called Bill Wuille, not sure if hes still there but great easy going guy highly recommend him. He even got me a free lift back to the strip.
