Just been watching the Air Crash Investigation on the above air incident.
It mentions something about a little known safety issue, that of a 2 x increase in the rate of climb/descent when you quickly reverse from one mode to the other e.g. clb to desc on the A320 because it thinks you are executing some sort of TCAS manoeuvre.
Flying the a/c myself for a few months I'm trying to find any references in the FCOM about this. Thanks in advance.
