Hello! Anybody out there familiar with the multi-pilot experience credit procedures of the CAA?

In GID 42 it states that "MCC credit will be considered from applicants who have logged 500 hours in multi-pilot public transport operations, even if that flying took place in single-pilot certified aircraft." <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">

How is corporate aviation regarded as if you fly an aeroplane that is single-pilot certified, BUT the ops procedures specify that 2 pilots have to fly it (even on positioning flights)???

You can take your case to the CAA. Does the UK CoA require 2 pilots? If yes, then you may have a good case. If no... don't know.. .There is a clause that says if 2 pilots are required under national law then 2 crew time on a single pilot aircraft is recognised. That is the one I am using. (Australia to UK)
