er...I know this might be in the wrong section, but does anyone know if B.A. are recruiting for non-Busdrivers?

Not at the moment. Paul Douglas (General Manager Strategy and Flight Crew Resources)stated at the BALPA Employment Conference in October that DEP recruitment would be in three phases. A320 type rated first, Jet rated second, and everyone else third.
Have been told that we can expect an advert for the second phase in Feb 2001. All recruitment is for the hold pool. BA currently require 200 pilot's per annum for the next four years. This figure includes cadet pilots. Check out the BA website for details. Just waiting for the goalposts to move!!
