Is there anywhere on the Internet where one can listen or download any ATIS' from Europe? Like Heathrow, Frankfurt, etc...

In the beginning.......... the Lord created train spotters, on the 3rd day he created aircraft spotters, by day 8 he'd clearly had enough, hence Herluf's post.......

Nik. .. .This channel is for people thinking of a career in commercial aviation as well as for current commercial pilots. Herluf's question did not really merit such a dismissive response.

Try http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/metar.shtml they have metars worldwide, including the old world. I think they have the TAFs as well on another page, didn't try though.. . . . [ 27 March 2002, 20:55: Message edited by: Denti ]

...going off at a tangent, the funniest ATIS I've ever heard was one time at Naples Municipal (APF) in Florida:. .. .The recording was dreadfully scratchy and there was a strange clicking noise in the background in time to that Elvis Presley song Suspicious Lies.. .. .Sounded so wonderful with the ol' goat controller apparently rapping to the tune in his Deep South accent
