Given that it's now been a few years since the crash of flight 800, and that everyone has had time to read both the "official" version and any number of other theories.... . . .I'm curious to know what pilots and others in the industry think. Was it a mechanical problem? Was it a missile? Something else?. . . .(My personal opinion is that something shot the plane down - possibly a missile, possibly the "star wars" missile defense system that the white house was lobbying for 20 yrs ago and that we've heard little of since, possibly something else.)
