Anybody knows more about a startup airline called Mama Airlines? They intend to start operations from Kent International Airport (aka Manston) .
First flight is scheduled for November 1 to Malaga. Other destinations are Geneva, Alicante, Glasgow and Prague.

Manston is only used by cargo planes at the moment (maintenance and freight), and a few pax flights a year bringing American cruise passenger. Omni Air operates DC10 flights to here.

Glasgow? :-( The obvious Scottish destination
is Edinburgh. This new airline has not done
its market research.

They probably mean PIK. http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/frown.gif

The last supposed new start-up at MSE, name escapes me - back in the first part of the year, issued a press release to various local media and the airport had never even spoken or heard of them...and no one else ever heard from them again!
