In the A320 MCDU FUEL PRED page how computers calculate the fuel to destination and alternate if.....
in abnormal configuration ------> flap or slat lock at a certain position after TO :confused: or in approach and we have to divert
Will the fuel (in this page) be different from normal situation?
Cheers,

Simple answer....the fuel calculation is unreliable as the FMGC does not take into account abnormal configurations.

See the notes in the QRH for guidance.
From memory, roughly double the fuel flow with flaps/slats and treble if you have the gear down.

Hi,

It is still an aircraft though.
You have a distance, a groudspeed, and fuel flow with your abnormal situation.
You should be able to compute easily the fuel required to your altn.

Back to basics !! :}
