NOTICE TO ALL PILOTS AND ENGINEERS
Please make sure you notify PLD of your change of address, you may be missing out on vital safety information. Click here for formSo far they haven't corrected their own address. PLD ceased to exist on 1 Oct 2009!
Their own Structure diagram (http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?catid=3&pagetype=90&pageid=657) shows there is no such department!

Not helped by the appalling website that's akin to an ergonomic slum. Have they ever heard of putting A before B?

If it's to update your address on your licence then I emailed my new address details to [email][email protected][email] recently and received my revised paperwork about two weeks later.

I sent in the paperwork for my license renewal a few months ago and even though no "change of address" form was included, and I haven't moved in the last six years, they still registered a change of address. I don't know why - normally people don't have trouble with my handwriting and anyway, how hard is it to distinguish a 0 from a 1?

Fortunately they only changed that single digit in the house number so my renewed license ended up with my neighbours across the street. I sent them a stern e-mail and two weeks later got the corrected license back at the proper address.

So this suggests that you don't have to use the official form. Any form of communication will do.
