I'm moving to Edinburgh in the next couple of months and wondered if anyone knows of reasonable accommodation (B+B, flatshare or whatever)near the airport?

Hi there,
Edinburgh's Airport is, like most, remote when it comes to very close accomodation. It is to the West of the City, just about South of the Forth Bridges. The nearest areas of town to ask property people about are: The Gyle, Barnton and perhaps a small town called Ratho..which is picturesque and close.
Closer in to town, but still in the right direction, are Corstorphine and Murrayfield.

Many thanks for the info. I've done a property search on the web, but the only info I've found is property for sale or to let and it seems quite expensive. On my small salary I've come to the conclusion that I'm now looking for a room to rent!
