Hello Guy's and Gals,

I was wondering if any of you 737 drivers have any helpful tips when it comes to revising the techinical stuff.

What im looking for is any acronyms or mnemonics to help you remember what components are affected by each system.

For example

Components affected by the HYD A system we can use A REAL GIANT P

A/P
RUDDER
ELEVATORS
AILERONS
LANDING GEAR
GROUND SPOILERS
CERTAIN FLIGHT SPOILERS
ALTERNATE BRAKING
NOSE WHEEL STEERING
THRUST REVERSER #1
PTU

Depends if 737-200 or 400. Sys A on the 200 I recall did everything while system B did
other lesser bits. If you knew the few items on B, then recalling A was a doddle.

I think you're talking of the 400. I'll dig up both when I get back to base, but I think we
used "A REAL TOY BAT" for SYS B on the 400.
