I want to complete my PPL before the end of summer 2011. I want to do the ground school asap around the Liverpool area. Does anyone know where is the best place to go to sit the tests? Is there anyone around this area who has recentl done these tests and where did you complete your practical tests?
Any responses are appreciated.
Thanks

I worked at Ravenair and still fly from there every so often, and I have friends who work at MerseyFlight, both do what your looking for, just which one you feel comfortable with, worth a visit cup of tea and a chat at both...LFS I cant speak for as have never had dealings with them, but they seem a friendly bunch.

I take it you have ruled out fixed wing microlights, so much cheaper.

Around 6 years now, yes it is real seat of the pants stuff....not the most sexy of aircraft I know but you really need to try it to appreciate them....and so affordable.

Flight Academy Blackpool. You can't beat them on value for money, quality of instruction and quality of their airplanes.

Nice video Nick, Iv seen it before when surfing youtube..
How was ATC at Liverpool when asking for a zone transit? I find them as helpful as they can be most of the time.

I recommend Liverpool Flying School, Id try and stick with 1 instructor and
commit yourself to certain days to keep it regular.

Good luck
