Could you Fly the space shuttle on a Powered Glider Licennce? After all, it is a large powered glider (Albeit one with approx 100,000 lb of thrust)?

In the UK and Europe, a SLMG (Self Launching Motor Glider) is up to 850kg MTOW, so the Orbiter is unlikely to qualify.

No idea about American rules, which may well differ.
