Please help me

I'm seriously considering becoming a pilot (probably initially in the RAF). In order to determine whether or not such a career's for me, I think I should have a few flying lessons which should be the deciding factor.

Are any of you UK forum contributors willing to take me on a flight if I help with the cost? If not, any suggestions as regards tackling my idea?

If you post a reply telling us roughly where in the UK you are, im sure someone will be able to suggest some flying schools that will be local to you.

I'm in Devon. In view of my location, EXT and PLY are probably the best from which to begin lessons. I've read that Celtic West operate from the former using the 150. An hour's lesson costs £97 inclusive of tax. What do you think?

Can anyone help?
