Doin my homework for my final board and just came across the BA744 operated by atlas (or is it an Atlas 744 operated by BA??)

Just wondered who crews the brute? As in do BA mainline pilots get to fly rubber dog turds or not??

Just curious....... Cheers

That's correct. The Atlas freighters in BA colours are operated effectively as a wet lease by BA. BA pilots do not fly them, which has opened up a rather large can of worms within the company ........

lemme guess - the atlas boys are on a lot more money than the BA boys???

Tunneler, money is not the issue. Atlas is crewed by foreign pilots working in the UK. Perhaps you could tell me how many outfits in the USA employ UK pilots?

Sorry Rod - didnt mean to wind anyone up - was a genuine question. Think I'll just leave it where it is though.

Thanks for the replies.
