New Airline ? SelectAir ?

Guys,

I heard from a few guys a few days back that there is a new "No Frills" Airline being launched in the next couple of months or so and that they are recruiting. Apparently, it is supposed to operate from London Manston in South East Kent.

I'm not sure if any of this is true, that BA were also looking at operating from Manston.
To be honest, I have seen a number of BA & VS jets at Manston in the past.

Can anyone tell me if any of the above is true in any way ?

I heard similar. There has certainly been a lot of jet activity around EGMN lately. Hopefully provide a much needed boost to the local economy and area.

11 years ago a company going by the name of Kent Airlines looked at operating DHC8-100s out of Manston to both Edinburgh and Glasgow. Having studied their business plan (produced by a reputable gent!) at the time, the projected pax figs certainly seemed to stack up back then. It's reasonable to assume that other city centre destinations could well be promising. Good Luck to the new operator if it's true !
