Try going on various airline and airport websites to see who goes to Bordeaux. I'm flying from Gatwick to Bordeaux on Boxing Day with BA. For me, BA are the cheapest option when flying from Southern England, as I always have luggage. I have explored travelling from other UK airports to that area of France, but there's not a lot of choice. Ideally, I would try to fly to Nantes or La Rochelle as these airports would be closer to my final destination in France ( Deux Sevres ). Ryanair fly to this area of France, as do Flybe and Easyjet but are often quite expensive ( with baggage), and also seasonal ( Flybe and Easyjet ). Easyjet do fly to Bordeuax with a daily flight, but can be a bit pricey, so I rely on BA with their reasonable fares and twice daily flights from Gatwick. Like I said, check out their websites and see what you find. If you do find anything or hear of any rumours, or facts, let us know. Good luck.
