View Full Version : Question to someone who works in FCO ATC

Can someone please answer this?

How can it be that when there is the " rush hour" at FCO around 9-10-ish local time,
with everybody taking off, runway 25, with about 15 to 20 a\c waiting,
you have landing a\c on 16R, when, later on in the day, with no a\c waiting, it is imposible to get it?

No flow what so ever....whats the point with two runways then?

Can I give you a sugestion? I know it's far fetched, but how about landings on 16L, so 20 a\c don't sit around waiting for a guy, who's been cleared to land 9 miles out, showing 146 kts ground speed? Come on!!

Has anybody ever thought about this?
