You need to get some French aviation maps, and an airport guide, or look in the French AIP.

Take a look in the AIP, they are both listed, with all the information you need.

SIA - La référence en information aéronautique (http://neige.fleurb.jmsp.net/html/frameset_encoursMSE_uk.htm)

A bit of detail info to be found at
Navigeo - Consultation du terrain LFMC - Le Luc Le Cannet (http://www.navigeo.org/LFMC)
Navigeo - Consultation du terrain LFCA - Chatellerault Targe (http://www.navigeo.org/LFCA)
and yes, that's in French - you better get used to that.

FWIW it would seem that LFMC is (or was?) a military terrain, or joint civil-military.

But no, I've never been there, either.

Be careful! Larzac (actually Millau Larzac) is LFCM! LFMC is quite a bit further round :-)

Apart from that, I haven't been there...

LFCM: Possibility of strong turbulence on arrival. The village is about 2km, or you can exit the aerodrome through a small gate on the fence and go to the motorway rest area at the end of the runway for a bite.

Not a terribly convenient airfield unless you're desperate for a piss or you're going to see the bridge.

I have visted most of the aerodromes/airports in the area as I am thinking of flying down from Biggin in my VansRV6.

Montpellier main airport LFMT does have several light aircraft in various private hangars, ( one of them is full of Vari-Ezes ) so it is possible to fly in there.

Montpellier Candillargues LFNG, is a great GA airport just to the west of the main airport -- loads of light aircraft and home builts.

Bezier LFMU is to the west of Montpellier by about 50 miles -- a bit desolate with a few Ryan air flights with taxi's only at the arr/dep times.

Millau - LFCM is a long way north and IS a GA airport with hotel on sight and right next to motorway.

Saint Martin de londres - LFNL is NW of LFMT and very desolate and in the hills.

Bedarieux - LFNX is again very desolate north of Bezier.

At least at the main LFMT airport there is car hire and customs.

Look up the SIA web site for all the approach plates and info.

I flew into Millau Larzac many years ago. Very quiet and isolated from what I remember but a friendly welcome and had Met and everything else. If you are visiting friends then they can probably pick you up which means transport should not be a problem.
