What costs are involved in the process of repainting an aircraft? I understand that it may differ depending on the size of both aircraft and what to paint - but maybe you could provide some examples? Let's say Operator A wants a plain white AC with just a small logo on it. If the AC is already painted - is it possible to remove old paint or do they have to cover it with new paint? And

Dont have any guide for costs, but rather than being just "possible" to strip the old scheme, I would say that it is "normal" to do so for any kind of significant re-paint job. That way you avoid the weight penalty of additional layers of paint and get the new scheme over a properly prepared/primed surface so it will last and look good longer.
