Hello.

I have recreated a main instrument panel form a Cessna 150 using simulated flight instruments to aid basic flight training within the Cessna 150 type aircraft.

I am looking for a suitable enclosure to enhance the simulation and is ideally looking to purchase an airframe from either salvage or a wreck / write off.

Would any of you be able to disclose any airfield or salvager than could perhaps aid an enclosure either C150 / 152 / C172, or know of any wrecks, salvage or overturned aircraft etc that could be purchased for simulation use / restoration of an non airworthiness cockpit.....

If anyone could be of any assistance, please feel free to contact me, any links/ contacts offered are greatly apreciated and willing to offer 'a drink' in return, without doubt.....

Kind Regards,

Alexander.

Hi Alexander,

I hope you've got flame-proof overalls since you've suggested using a simulator for "basic flight training" - see http://www.pprune.org/private-flying/433412-ppl-flight-sim.html

Seriously, although I can't help with what you've asked for, good luck with your search. :ok:

I don't have their contact details, but there's a fairly active aircraft breaker at Booker - should be easy to contact, or just drive over there and say hello.

There's also a knackered PA38 that looks okay from a safe distance but could firmly do with recycling at Chilbolton; I've no idea who owns it, but the airfield management (Stonefield Park) should. Mind you, if the owner is still paying his tie-down fees...

Hi Thanks for the replies....

Have been trying to find an email address for MK aero at andrewsfield, the Cessna as mention that they may have would be perfect as it would be my closest airfield....

Hi,

I did google MK Aero Support Ltd, but the email addresses all gave failure notices when I sent an email, they no longer exist!

Thanks.

Alex

Then there will be several owners on our field searching for a new shop... Have you tried phoning Andrewsfield Aviation - they may be able to help as they're right next door!
