Hi to all aviators. We are a small but expanding helicopter company based in the UK, currently specialising in Flight training. We are looking to expand our business by getting an A to B AOC, but to be honest have no idea where to start, the CAA web site is as useful as ever and i've hit a bit of a wall. can anyone offer any advice on how to get started?

Thanks in advance, Phill

Beg, steal or borrow! That's the way it is often done (or pay handsomely for someone to do it for you).

Start with at least £100K
Postholders - will the CAA acept them?
Manuals - beg steal or borrow or send me £25K and I will provide.
Ground Ops - weight and balance, security, SMS, crisis planning, handling
Training - providers, courses, approvals
Quality - QMS, audits,documentation
Engineering - manuals, MMEL, MEL,spares, out sourced?
Flight Ops - systems, FTLs, scheduling
