I have a JAR PPL (no NPPL) - if I have any instruction from a NPPL instructor am I able to log the hours (as PUT)?

There is no such thing as a NPPL Instructor, they will be a JAR Instructor....

. . . unless you're talking about TMG time with an SLMG instructor, in which case you can log the time as PUT if you want but it does not count as the instructor hour for your SEP / TMG rating re-validation.

And if you haven't got the TMG rating sorted yet you can't even count the time towards your 12+ hours for SEP rating re-validation.

There is no such thing as a NPPL Instructor
a. MGIR LASORS H9
b. FI (Microlight) and AFI (Microlight) LASORS H7 & H8
Neither of these are JAA instructors and they teach for NPPL Ratings! Flights in the appropriate class of aeroplane can be logged as PUT with such instructors.
