Big EasyJet announcement (Not the Lisbon base)

Hi all
Has anyone got any idea what this new easyjet announcement could be (not Lisbon base)? I've heard that Easy has applied for etops (from management)!

Not heard of any big news. However there has been alot of rumours about ETOP routes out of Lisbon.....

Talked to a friend of mine in engineering, engineers will be going on courses for A330.

Said 5 aircraft initially with a possibility of a further 10.

So aircraft will definitely be ETOPS

Doubt much will happen until the big BCG review is complete!! Then stby for etops and allocated seat trial!! next thing they will offer a free sandwich and drink to be competitive !! Stby for reinvention of the wheel!!!

Can u imagine!! JFK and back, 12 hrs rest followed by an EDI... FRMS says its sub optimal but OK!!!
