If this is too close to advertising, then please remove. ;)

But, for those who are interested, there are some short films of light aircraft (Robin, C182 and R44) operating off-pavement in the Sahara in southern Libya on youtube. Search YouTube for 'prepare2go'.

There will be more added over the coming days...

Safe flights, Sam.

Hell .... all the places I have wanted to go in a light aircraft :ok: I wonder if I can persuade my new group to let me take the PA28 to Libya for two weeks!?

Hi Radar,

It was a good trip, good people.

Also managed a few 'firsts', landing on roads, landing out on the desert floor - even a night IFR flight into Tripoli with a WT9 Dynamic (lots of fun that one).

Safe flights, a beer in BXL sometime?

Sam.

Going for a beer is far too expensive in Brussels, though of course that is less of an issue to you than to me... };-)
Let me know when you're around and thirsty, and I'll be glad to show you around.

btw did you get and appreciate my msg about private airfield?

Hi Jan,

Got your info about the fields - I'll be in touch but it's a long-term plan.

More videos uploaded - including fantastic one of WT9 Dynamic lifting from the desert floor (taken from an R44).

Safe flights, Sam.

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but there's a new, 14 minute, film at:

YouTube - prepare2go's Channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/prepare2go?feature=mhum)
