Hi guys,

I use the Sennheiser HMEC 250 for private flying and work.

Unfortunately, the mike isnt working. Broken during the flight home this evening after a 6 sector day.

Bought from Transair 2 years ago approx, does anyone know if this would be covered by warranty (sent them an email asking them) so awaiting their reply.

If it isnt, can somebody recommend somewhere to send the headset to be repaired?

Regards!

The guys at Shoreham will fix it for you. Good service, good price. They fixed my Pilot set otherwise I have no connection with them.

Don't go anywhere near Headset Services they will rip you off. They charge £50 just to look at it and tried to charge me over £230 just to repair a bad plug connection and replace some ear pads.

I suggest you try your local flying club and ask who they get to repair their headsets. In the end I repaired my headset myself, the parts came to less than £30 and 20 mins with a soldering iron.
