Warbirds at KGAI

Just my chance and unusual for me, I drove to KGAI, Montgomery County Airpark, this afternoon (1400 EDT). I was surprised to see a real B-17 taxiing up and parking next to the little terminal. A P-51 was already there. Since it's Friday afternoon, I presume that there is some sort of event this weekend.

Those were Collings Foundation aircraft at GAI on a tour stop. A third, a B-24, arrived shortly afterwards. Saturday, the Air Park held an open house and marked its 50th anniversary.
