The EASA proposals to bring in a raft of new legislation related to foreign registered aircraft based permanently in Europe are well documented on this forum.

There are lots of very eloquent posts on here explaining why the proposed legislation is pointless and unnecessary. It struck me that this 'common sense' thinking (which appears to be sadly lacking at EASA) would be more effective if it were directed towards our MEP's to whom ultimately, EASA are accountable.

Might I suggest that people check here WriteToThem - Email or fax your Councillor, MP, MEP, MSP or Welsh, NI, London Assembly Member for free (http://www.writetothem.com), find out the name of their MEP and bombard them with letters explaining just how absurd and unnecessary these proposals are?
