What reg? Do you have a type rating for it?

IIRC there was one for rent out of Lydd. On the American Register.

Can't recall any details - quick Google doesn't throw anything up. Perhaps someone on here has the details.

Yes, I have the PA46 in my JAR/FCL license & also have a FAA cert. - so, JAA or N register.

The N-reg one which used to be at Lydd is now for sale, sitting not a million miles from where I am sitting. I was told the operator had gone bust, or something like that. It used to be an offshoot of this outfit (http://www.hrgo.co.uk/) whose name is still on the tail. I think it is this plane (http://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/photo/311371.html).

Where is that PA46 now?

I know a guy who used to pose around in it up here whilst, as it turns out flying it illegally.

He had an FAA 61.75 certificate issued on the basis of his UK PPL / IR not realising that because he didn't have a standalone FAA cert, he also needed PA46 type on his UK licence.

There's at least another one at Lydd, maybe two, but I can't remember the reg. One is on the G-reg and the other is on an N-reg. The N-reg one is white with tan lines.

I've moved the discussion about FAA 61.75 certificates to another thread.

This one's about renting an aircraft.
