B737NG and automatic ACARS message ?

In case of a trailing edge flaps asymetry on B737NG having ACARS,
do you know if the system is able to launch an automatic message to
the maintenance ?

yes, on most aircraft information like this will be send automatically. Depending on the problem, maintenance can be aware of a problem sooner than the flight crew ;)

The NG can, and it depends entirely what kind of options your airline has ordered and installed. Even the more automatic part depends on options ordered and installed.

Possible reports are the load report, engine cruise data report or similar but an automatic message triggert by TE Flap asymetry? This info by itself is useless for the maintenance.

1. Because 737 series aircraft do not have CMC, so there is no ACARS message related to LRU failed and system failed downlink to GND.
2. Our 737 NG fleet is installed with ACMS, and it will send engine take-off report, cruise report & hard landing report to GND automatically, because we pre-define the trigger logic in ACMS for these reports, but there is no load report for flight control system.

Ryanair does not have ACARS equipped aircraft, so they definitely can not do it.
