Hi all,

My wife and I would like to hire a C150 whilst on our holidays in Menorca. Does anybody know where we can hire single engine piston aircraft on the island and their contact details please ?

Any help as always much appreciated.

There was a grass strip south of Mahon where an Englishman ran a flight school. I think he used a C172.
I've been tryin to find a map but without success and I can't see it on google maps. I was last there 8 years ago but did not fly so I am afraid I have no contact details.
Sorry this is so vague.
Just remembered there was a small kart track next door, not to be confused with the big one in the centre of the island.
DO.

Google Earth shows the airfield south of the town when you look for "Mahon, Spain" including a few pics one stating Aeroclub Nevada

For Spanish aerodromes my private source of info is
http://www.pelicano.com.pt/z_espanha2.htm
though I must admit there is no indication of how fresh the data are. Still it does not show me any a/d on Menorca apart from the main LEMH

Edit: some more websearching found me Archivos (http://www.aeroclubmenorca.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=archive&Itemid=40)
(hope the URL is useable after being split)

The Real Aero Club de Mahon is based at the old Menorca airport at Aeródromo de San Luis (LESL).

They list a C-152 Aerobat on their fleet, but that was 2 years ago.

See: Información General (http://www.aeroclubmenorca.com/index.php?option=com_contact&view=contact&id=1%3Ainfo&catid=12%3Aaeroclub&Itemid=3) .

Hi,
I'm also planning a holiday in Menorca and would be interested in renting an airplane for some fun.
Apparently the Real Aeroclub Mahón seems the best option.

Does anyone know their contact information (e-mail/telephone)?

Thanks for any help,
