Planning to go to Cyprus very soon, and hoping to fly for an hour or two with a safety pilot (to make my life easier - cause I'll be on hol).

Anyone recently flown with either.

Thanks

Hi Extreme, ( no pun)
I would only say to you be careful in Cyprus, the earlier in the AM you fly the better, after roughly 0900hrs there is a lot of haze about which tend,s to blank out any distance and ground views, also check the maintenance/Tec logs of A/c or Heli that you may be flying in, a mil friend of mine based in Cy gave that advice to me only 3 months ago when I was there, so for what its worth I'm passing it on to you. Good luck. Fly safe!! land safer!!! :D
If your going thru Larnaca airport, dont leave any valuable's in your suitcase's there seems to be a ring of thieves operating in the baggage dept there, 1st hand experience of this!!

I flew a lot during the 2 years or so I was working in Cyprus a couple of years back and so can tell you probably most of all you want to know. I did a PPL and AFI out there...and saw all of the island from both seats.
