Does anyone know of anywhere in Scotland that life rafts for aviation use can be hired?

The answer seems to be no - I will have a look at SEMS Aerosafe, they seem to do reasonable hire prices. Does anyone know of somewhere that hires out the Winslow rafts? They look very sturdy.

Would second Far North at Wick, Andrew knows his stuff. Sterling service.

Another vote for Andrew - not least because he's had an engine or 2 stop before, so knows the value of good kit.

I think I'll go with SEMS actually because I'm down south at the moment, you can get annual hire from them for just 360 pounds for a raft that would usually cost 1200-1500 pounds. Got my immersion suit as well today...I'm all set for my winter flying...:ok:
