Slinfold to close?
Not sure if this is the correct forum? I hear that the farm strip at Slinfold, Sussex, is now up for sale and that developers are sitting on the sidelines to build on the site! Does anyone know if this is true?
Is that the place with a house near the end of the runway, some hangars, and full planning?
If so, it has been for sale for years. I saw it about 5 years ago for £1.8M or something like that. Later much reduced.

If so, I can't see any reason for thinking they'd get planning permission for housing or industry.

It is this one. It is part of the local planning catchment - 3,500 houses. It is seriously under threat, I'm told.
