At my company we received a notice about a cockpit fire that occurred on the ground. The crew member flashlight, torch burst into flames in his back pack. It was reported that it was a flashlight that used Lithium batteries. In this case the batteries involved were bought in China. One of those great deals pilots love to find.:=
I would suggest if there is anyone reading this that has bought some of those they should properly dispose of them and replace them with ones from a legit supplier before they bring their flashlight, torch on an airplane.
