Looking for an N reg to rent, Southern England...

I'm looking to rent a N reg aircraft for a flight in the near future, ideally would be Cessna 172/182 or PA28 family (although I would consider similar types), also needs to be IFR approved, preferably with IFR GPS as well. Looking for one in the area south west of London...Surrey/Hampshire/West Sussex sort of area...

Anyone know of any?

Not exactly what you want, but Lydd Aero Club used to run an 'N' registered AA5 as well as a rather nice Piper also on an 'N' plate as part of their rental fleet.

Do you know if they still do? I looked at their website and couldn't find any reference to one. Lydd is too far for me to go really though...

There used to be a well equipped Archer and BE36 N reg for rent at Fairoaks I believe.

There is a very well equipped Mooney based at Biggin Hill on "N" reg which is for hire (E-plane I think) could dig a number or email out if needed:ok:
