Saturday, 28th July, 1445 hrs.
About to depart after a spot of sunbathing.
Unannounced aerobatic display over airfield by someone. Anyone got a clue who was flying that plane, because he/she was utterly phenominal!! Without doubt the finest aero flying i've ever seen and it was so low that the airfield owner flipped his lid and banned any a/c movements for half an hour while he calmed down.
Who was that pilot?? :D I believe he/she is based there

Has Henstridge cleaned up its taxiways yet? I know a lot of people that had their props badly dinged last year by the lumps of grit that were sitting on the taxiways.

The last I heard, they had managed to acquire a sweeper, which didn't sound like the greatest of solutions...

A little bit rough in places but you can see the bad patches. I forgive them for it though because of the fact that it is such a relaxing place to sit and relax half way through a day when you get fed up with work and you want to get away for some peace.

The aero pilot is obviously a bit of a dark horse. Whoever he/she was, it was better than I have seen at any airshow. :p
