Hi

I applied yesterday to NATS online and this morning have been asked to complete an online selection test.

My question is, what exactly do these tests consist of? Is it mental arithmatic/ shape tracking/ spatial awareness/ memory tests? Is it like the games on the NATS website? Only that i have a laptop without an external mouse and shape tracking and so on is a bit tricky on a laptop mouse pad. Would it be advisable to go and buy a mouse before doing these tests?

Thanks in advance.

You'll probably find the answer somewhere in the 'NATS Interview Process' thread, but anyway..

From what I remember, it's just mental arithmatic and maths problems, so having a calculator, pen and paper to hand would be a good step. You won't need to buy a mouse for it, I don't have one either.

I strongly suspect it's not part of the interview process anyway, I've heard of many people (including me!) who completely screwed it up but still got through. So just give it your best shot and don't worry about it.
