Can anyone clarify the time limits of the PPL syllabus? I had my first lesson February 2001, and took my first exam (Air Law) in August 2001. I have since successfully gained the R/T licence, human performance, and met exam. . .As ever, thanks for any advice !

gingernut, . .. .the next few months can go very very quickly - I sudenly found that I had left myself 3 exams to do in a relatively short space of time. I got them, but with only 2 days to spare before having to repeat Air Law. My suggestion is: get them out of the way and enjoy your flying!. .. .Evo, FWIW, I found that doing all the exercises in the Thom books to do with using the whizz wheel and then doing all the questions in the confuser, together with all the normal pre-flight Nav. planning was a good preparation for using the whiz-wheel in the exam.. .. .SD
