Avalon. .. .Okay girls and guys from Western Australia, who’s going to Avalon in Victoria for the 2003 Air show?. .. .We have at least three planes from WA attending but I’m sure there will be more.. .. .The plan is for us all to meet up in Kalgoorlie and get to know each other. Day two is planned to go to Port Pirie and stay over night, stopping at Forrest to refuel and de-fuel if you have to. The next day will be the final jaunt into Avalon for the show. . .. .After the show we want to go on to Sydney and other places but a convoy will be heading back west.. .. .I have done a trip to the centre and back with another aircraft and it is fun. The slower ones check out earlier and hopefully we all arrive at the same time, it really becomes a mini air trial but without the pressures of trying to win / impress.
