Im planning on spending some cash soon getting my PPL. Im living in Australia at the moment and its one of the most expensive places to fly. Also, their certification is not transferrable to a JAA license.
Hoever, I have found a flying school in New Zealand. Im almost ready to commit but there is only one thing I'm unsure of. They do their training in Jabiru aircraft. What are these aircraft like and has anyone completed their training in them? I would be wary of completing my training in these ultralights and then finding out that the Cessna's and the Pipers are very hard to get used to. Has anyone ever heard pof the Euroflight training center in New Zealand? I'd love to get some feedback and advice.
