Aircraft identification

We've just had a large biplane over here,quite low,750-1000feet,sounded to be turbo prop.
Bearing in mind the Lowestoft airshow was nearby last two day it may have had something to do with that.
Any ideas what it was?:)

PS- not a Stearman,we have three of those at our strip,I know what they sound and look like;)


Just had a Google,it could be Antonov AN2

The Turbine Grumman/Schweizer Ag-Cats that Milllers used to operate out of Wickenby have been the only turboprop bi-planes I've seen fly. They're long gone to foreign climes now.
There was an AN2 due at Lowestoft but you'd not mistake that for a turbine?
Can't think of anything else.

An AN2 with a turbine engine fitted is called an AN3. They're very rare though, outside their original region.
