Hi all.

I was lucky to have a go in a 767 sim to do some practice for future interviews or sim evaluations. A lot of new inputs I must say coming from a barely 12 ton turbo prop.

Things went very fast and there was a lot to take in. From that follows that I didn't catch everything. Flap setting procedure during climbout and approach were one sutch item that I didn't quite grasp.

During approach, the flaps go from 0 to 1 to 5 to 20 to 30. Have I got it right if I say that this happens before minimum Vref for the current setting and after having passed below the first green "F" on the speedtape. How do I see the current minimum speed on the speedtape? Using a speed tape was very new to me so please don't laugh! A short explanation on how to use this would be highly appreciated.

I was also too much "in the cone" to miss what powersettings I had. Is there a guidline for pitch, powersetting and resultant speed that can be used for general airwork?
