I can't find the cost for the above anywhere in the CAA scheme of charges. Does anyone know what it currently is (both PPL and CPL would be appreciated if there is any difference). Thanks.

It is the same regardless of licence type and as I recall is about £42. The figure can be found in the ORS.

Thanks - that doc link was precisely what I was looking for - knew I'd seen it before but couldn't find it anywhere on the CAA website and was pulling my hair out!!

Okavango, a word of caution. The CAA quote 10 working days to process an application, once received from abroad. This can throw a serious spaner in the works. If you plan on doing a validation somewhere, check with Gatwick first and ensure you have their correct, up-to-date email and fax numbers. The ones on the website aren't always.....

If you have a standalone FAA license, use this one, much quicker and FOC.
