This is quite literally all I have heard........ crew in the process of being rescued as I post this.
Hope it's unsubstantiated......if not then fingers crossed for the occupants.

Kitfox floatplane, pranged near Charleston on the north coast of the Beauly Firth. No injuries, two on board made it safely ashore by lifeboat. Happy ending. :)

I believe I passed the Kitfox on the back of a trailer on it's was out to Dalcross earlier today,albeit without the floats and wings!!!!!

Sounds like its once again without wings or floats.....
Was talking to my dad (in Inverness) about this, and apparently the pilot did not raise the gear before attempting a floats landing on water.
ouch.
