Still new to PPRuNe, but never the less thought it the best place to pass on a compliment!
If anyone knows whom the lovely lady on Farnborough East today was (between about 2-3 o'clock), please let her know that her sterling work didn't go unnoticed.
My friend and I sat in quite disbelief as within about a 10 minute span you were subjected to 3 aircraft dropping intermittently off frequency, 2 non-native pilots who required each clearance/request for information to be broken down into about 14 different transmissions, and (what sounded like) a fairly severe bust of Stansted's CTA, despite the innumerable and increasingly urgent messages that went seemingly unnoticed.
Despite all; your professionalism still seemed in tact afterwards, despite sounding at times slightly vexed, which I think is understandable.
Enjoy a nice large glass of Vin Rouge wherever you are! :ok:
