I have a "cunning plan" for a trip around Ireland next month. It is a plan for a three-four day trip with the first nightstop at Enniskillen and the last nightstop at Shannon. I am aware of the issues regarding customs/special branch for my flight but I wondered if anyone has any recommendations, pitfalls to be aware of etc for my flight. I also thought about spending either the second or third night on the Aran Islands. Thoughts anyone?

Check that Shannon has fuel... sometimes they run out. We landed at Shannon then got a cab to stay in Limerick, but I'm sure there are closer places to stay

Book your accomodation on Innishmore well in advance. It's usually limited in supply. The other two are significantly smaller.

Galway is a nice place, but apparently the landing fees are stupid at the moment.
