Dear All,
We use the Universal UNS-1C on our Excel's. How do we get the MFD to display the TOD? I always thought that it is displayed whenever the destination airport is entered in the FMS, and that the field elevation is input automatically from the Nav Data Base, based on enroute FL/Altitude, field elevation and distance. Apparently, I am wrong; it has something to do with the VNAV key on the FMS (even though we don't use VNAV). Could somebody care to explain how this is accomplished, and if there is a technique involved?
