I will be in the US on business in November and want to do some flying while I'm there. My preference is to either fly the PA28 or the Diamond DA40.

Could anyone recommend any places I can rent from that would provide interesting flying. I have been to Florida many times so I'm not particularly interested in going back there and I'm not interested in dealing with airfileds/airspace that is highly congested.

I look forward to your advice.

Are you going to be based in any particular state / city whilst on business in USA?

Can't help for New York but in LA you want Angel City Flyers (http://www.angelcityflyers.com) at Long Beach - all DA40 fleet.

Alternatively if you find yourself there then Monarch Sky (http://www.monarchsky.com) Las Vegas (Both North Las Vegas and Henderson) have a couple of DA40's.

Don't overlook the flying opportunities in Canada. Lots to offer, and hardly any controlled airspace away from the largest airports. Consider float flying for a change in pace....
